Haley is bashful.
When people say hi to her, she says hi but looks at the floor.
Or she gives them a little smirk, and then immediately buries her head in my shoulder.
Or she may even run to me with her arms up, so that I pick her up.
But what does Haley do when she runs into a gigantic monkey while at a Halloween Party?
She laughs and smiles.
She runs to him for hugs and sits on his lap.
She even chases him around the party.
Who would have guessed? Kids... just when you think you have them figured out, they always seem to surprise you!
