Today, Haley peed on the carpet.
Today, I spilled half of a chocolate breakfast shake in the fridge.
Today, I took the kids to a nearby park to go exploring on the trails. They both wiped out in the mud, and got FILTHY. Haley got a rip in her brand new leg warmers.
Today, Jackson and I made brownies for my Bible Study tonight. When Jackson went to stir the batter, I huge chunk of it dumped outside of the bowl.
Today, Jackson broke out in hives, and that hasn't happened in months. We still don't know what the trigger is.
Today, I'm anxiously awaiting quiet time. Haley will take a nap, Jackson will play on the computer, and mommy is going to light a candle, heat up some cider, and curl up on the couch with a good book.
Today, the laundry can wait, the dishes can wait, the clutter can wait.
Why?
Because it's been one of those days!

oops...i really should proof read my posts...that's "praying"...oh, i am only on the computer to take a break and read one of my favorite things...your blog...shouldn't leave the munchkins longer than that today. Too much trouble can happen :( Looking forward to next week when Haley and Jackson are here! Love you! Mom
