This morning, my parents and I took the kids to an Easter Egg Hunt at their church. There were a TON of eggs, and we came home with a whole lot of candy. In case you are wondering, Haley still refuses to eat any form of candy, so her brother promised that he would help rid her of her bounty. We were told that there was one silver egg, and whoever found that egg would get a special prize. Despite Jackson's good fortune in the past, he did not find the silver egg... but we still had a lot of fun.
And as we pick out special outfits for church tomorrow, and eat Easter candy, and look for Easter eggs, we also remember the remarkable gift Jesus gave to us when he gave us his life. He is risen, and that is the best thing about Easter!
